4.  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on July 21, 2020, that his government has approved ‘Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana’. The scheme will enable all beneficiaries to avail doorstep delivery of ration.
5.  Crime writer, S Hussain Zaidi has penned a new novel “The Endgame” which talks of politics, betrayal, and unimaginable terror.
6.  The Andhra Pradesh state government has planned to reopen schools from September 5, 2020. However, the final decision will be taken after evaluating the situation when the date approaches.
7.  Karnataka Deputy CM C.N. Ashwathnarayan on July 21 inaugurated state’s maiden plasma bank at HCG Hospital, Bengaluru as a part of Mission COPE (COVID Plasma Endeavour).
8.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 22, 2020, congratulated the nuclear scientists as Gujarat’s Kakrapar atomic power plant-3 achieved criticality. The Prime Minister highlighted that the indigenous 700 MWe KAPP-3 reactor will be a shining example of the ‘Make in India’ campaign.
9.  A 2001-batch, Indian Revenue Service officer, P Praveen Siddharth has been appointed as the new personal secretary to the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.
10.  South Korea launched its first-ever military communications satellite on July 20, 2020. The satellite was launched by private operator SpaceX. The military satellite, ANALYSIS-II is aimed at enhancing the nation’s ability to defend itself against nuclear-armed North Korea.
11.  The 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be held in the UAE. This was confirmed by the IPL governing council chairman Brijesh Patel on July 22, 2020. Both UAE and Sri Lanka had offered to host the league considering the rising number of COVID-19 cases in India.

4. दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने 21 जुलाई, 2020 को घोषणा की कि उनकी सरकार ने h मुख्यमंत्री आवास गृह राशन योजना ’को मंजूरी दे दी है। योजना से सभी लाभार्थी राशन की डोरस्टेप डिलीवरी का लाभ उठा सकेंगे।
5. अपराध लेखक, एस हुसैन जैदी ने एक नया उपन्यास “द एंडगेम” लिखा है जिसमें राजनीति, विश्वासघात और अकल्पनीय आतंक की बात की गई है।
6. आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य सरकार ने 5 सितंबर, 2020 से स्कूलों को फिर से खोलने की योजना बनाई है। हालांकि, तारीख आने पर स्थिति का मूल्यांकन करने के बाद अंतिम निर्णय लिया जाएगा।
7. कर्नाटक के डिप्टी सीएम सी। एन। अश्वत्तनारायण ने 21 जुलाई को मिशन COPE (COVID प्लाज्मा एंडेवर) के हिस्से के रूप में बेंगलुरु के HCG अस्पताल में राज्य के पहले प्लाज्मा बैंक का उद्घाटन किया।
8. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 22 जुलाई, 2020 को परमाणु वैज्ञानिकों को गुजरात के काकरापार परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र -3 की जीवन शक्ति के रूप में बधाई दी। प्रधान मंत्री ने कहा कि स्वदेशी 700 MWe KAPP-3 रिएक्टर campaign मेक इन इंडिया ’अभियान का एक चमकदार उदाहरण होगा।
9. 2001 बैच के भारतीय राजस्व सेवा के अधिकारी, पी प्रवीण सिद्धार्थ को भारत के राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद के नए निजी सचिव के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।
10. दक्षिण कोरिया ने 20 जुलाई, 2020 को अपना पहला सैन्य संचार उपग्रह लॉन्च किया। इस उपग्रह को निजी ऑपरेटर स्पेसएक्स द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया था। सैन्य उपग्रह, ANALYSIS-II का उद्देश्य परमाणु हथियार संपन्न उत्तर कोरिया के खिलाफ देश की रक्षा करने की क्षमता को बढ़ाना है।
11. इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) का 2020 संस्करण यूएई में आयोजित किया जाएगा। इसकी पुष्टि आईपीएल गवर्निंग काउंसिल के अध्यक्ष बृजेश पटेल ने 22 जुलाई, 2020 को की थी। यूएई और श्रीलंका दोनों ने भारत में COVID-19 मामलों की बढ़ती संख्या को देखते हुए लीग की मेजबानी की पेशकश की थी।
